Feeding Northeast Florida (FNEFL) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our next chapter of growth, innovation, and community impact.
Serving 12 counties across Northeast Florida, FNEFL works tirelessly to ensure access to nutritious food for individuals and families facing hunger. Through a strong network of more than 425 partner agencies, schools, churches, and community organizations, we serve over 101,000 neighbors every single day.
Building on the momentum of our recently opened 110,000-square-foot headquarters and distribution center in Jacksonville, our next CEO will provide strategic leadership, oversee financial and operational growth, advance fundraising, and serve as the organization’s primary ambassador.
Position Overview
- Position Title: Chief Executive Officer
- Location: Jacksonville, FL (Residency in greater Jacksonville required)
- Compensation: $200,000 – $260,000 annually (commensurate with experience), plus performance-based bonus and retention compensation options.
- Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, HSA, life/disability insurance, and 401(k).
- Reports To: Board of Directors.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of executive-level leadership experience (preferably within nonprofits, food banking, human services, or complex mission-driven organizations).
- Proven track record in strategic planning, major gift fundraising, financial oversight, and collaborative community leadership.
